A Haiku and Three Birds

I didn't see anything new or unusual today, so I've just included photos of some common birds I saw today and a haiku I wrote about an owl (perhaps the one I heard on Thursday).


Owl with silent wings
Flying through the moonlit sky

Into the dark night


Below is a northern mockingbird sitting in a tree.

Below is a California towhee that had been eating cat food out of the bowl.

Below is a western scrub-jay that was also eating cat food.
