A Kingbird, a Jay, a Finch, and a Hummingbird

Today the birds were not out early this morning.  It might have been because it was cloudy, but even when it cleared up, there were not many birds.  Most of them were around at about one o'clock in the afternoon, much later than usual.

Below is a Cassin's kingbird that was sitting on a dead tree.  It was with a partner, but the other kingbird was behind some branches, so I couldn't get a photo with both of them.

Below is a western scrub-jay on a different dead tree.  It was pulling twigs off again.

Below is a male house finch that came with a small flock, but sat apart from them.
