I'm a teenage birdwatcher in sunny Southern California. I'll be posting lists of the birds I see in my backyard many days, and neat birds I see in other places too. I'll also be posting photos I take with my new camera! Forgive my amateur photography skills!
Here's my first photo of one of my favorite birds, the yellow-rumped warbler. It winters here in large numbers, and behaves a lot like a flycatcher, flying from its perch to catch insects on the wing. If you see one, there's likely twenty-five more in the bushes!
