As well as birdwatching, I love to read and write poetry, so here are two of my haikus.
Mockingbirds singing
Sweet sounds throughout the day
And through the night too
A golden eagle
Soaring through the sunny sky
Great dark wings spread wide
Here is another photo of a yellow-rumped warbler that I couldn't resist posting! It flew right up to me and sat still just long enough for one photo.
